We've Hit The Big Time

The Suns 2006-2007 schedule has been released and it looks just fantastic. The Suns will be showcased on national television an astounding 33 times, nine of which will be shown on NBATV. The schedule includes 23 of 41 home games played on the weekend. Expect lots of drunken rambling after many of these games. I'm shaking in anticipation. The only thing that rubs me the wrong way is that we open the season at L.A. Lakers and have a home game the following day vs. the Clippers. I can't wait to crush Kobe and co. but can't the team have a little time to work up to a back-to-back? Do the first two games really need to be back-to-back?

The entertainment value of this Suns team is skyrocketing with so many nationally televised games. I think it's good that they are getting so much exposure so that more people will come to realize how much fun this team is. This is a milestone in changing the culture of the NBA into something more exciting and fun to watch.
