Carnival Business
I apologize for the lack of a post after a couple games but hey, it was the weekend and I have been really busy. Matt at Detroit Bad Boys got a new Carnival of the NBA up to tide everyone over.
The games over the weekend were pretty, well, anticlimactic. I mean, the Portland game was pretty close but I just had that feeling the entire time that no matter how well the Blazers played, they were going to lose. And they did. I guess the Suns are now THAT good.
The Timberwolves game was a challenge in "let's see how little time it takes for us to blow a team out." Good lord, the Suns are the balls. I'm laying there on the couch, I get up to get a Guinness for two minutes and come back in the midst of a 32-2 run or something impossible like that. Then the game was over and the scrubs were in before my Guinness was done. That really got out of hand quickly.
Anyways, I am looking forward to some games that should be challenges. The Bullets game tomorrow is HUGE. I can't frickin wait. Soon on the schedule we got the Spurs and Jazz too. I'm starting to get excited again!

The Spurs and Jazz games are the first games in a long time *to* be excited about. Nobody matters except Dallas, San Antonio, Utah, and the Lakers. And the Lakers matter only because every other team is morally obligated to embarrass them. (Sorry, my hatred of the Lakers approaches the psychotic.)
