Reach in foul on Duncan's first drive. Strip looked clean. 1-2 FT

KT hits first jumper. Steals lob- leads to fast break 3. 7-1 PHX

Timeout Spurs. Popovich has no qualms about calling the 1st timeout. I remember reading John Wooden saying he NEVER wanted to call the first timeout. I've seen Pop call a timeout after one possession before. He has total control of that team.

Yeah...Suns, don't even think about dumping Kurt Thomas just because he's slow. His defense and rebounding are too important. Hersey, I think Gregg Popovich must be a dictator. In addition to what you say, Dennis Rodman claimed Popovich "wanted to be the guy who tamed" him.

This move was seemingly obvious because KT was brought in for Duncan. KT really brought it tonight the team defense was so good the Spurs looked like a one-man team. KT didn't shut down Duncan but he is the only person able to play him straight up. With that tough D and Nash's ability to create shots- they looked really focused tonight.

I watched the Suns this last playoffs and have come to really appreciate how incredible Steve Nash is.

The Suns need some front court help. One option that I hope they will consider is Chris Richard from the University of Florida. He could be an excellent 2nd round selection or free agent invite. I am a Florida Gator fan and feel he is overlooked. He is a tough competitor and a great athlete. As a guy off the bench he could play a very positive (and affordable!) role for the Suns. Better grab him up quick..... I think he also would be a great fit with the Warriors, Mavericks, and Spurs.

Take care.

Mark
