More Surgery

Suns All-Star center Amaré Stoudemire did not get on the team bus to Tucson today because he is scheduled to undergo an arthroscopy on his right knee Tuesday morning.
It will be Stoudemire's third knee surgery in two years but it is not the knee that undwent the microfracture procedure two years ago, when he left the Suns' last training camp in Tucson for an exploratory scope. That scope showed a lesion requiring a microfracture procedure to repair.
All I can say is: Let's hope it's just loose debris. If he ends up with another serious surgery, I think I'm going to cry.

"Scope" seems to suddenly be the new slang for "arthroscopy."
Yeah, scope is just another descriptive term for arthroscopic surgery, in reference to how they perform the surgery.

I can't believe the other, older front in the big man situation. Sean Marks and Brian Skinner will be the normal starting centers? Mike D'Antoni is a moron! Marks!
If Amare or Marion goes down, expect Boris to start at PF or C.
Don't expect to see an awful lot of Skinner or Marks.
Yeah...Skinner should have talked to Jumaine Jones first. I hope he's under no illusions.
Zei, Hersey, do you suppose the Suns could sign Chris Webber for a small amount of money a la Grant Hill? Does he probably want to win badly?
He said he's signing with the Pistons or retiring, last I checked... so that's probably a no.
Today's Republic said there is a free agent named Doug Thomas in training camp. I've never heard of him; has anyone? And Richie Frahm is on the roster, but I know only his name.
